Robin worked with me and Stetson while she was in Southern Arizona a few years ago.

Robin went out of her way to set up situations where we could work on specific skills needed for building confidence in this young dog as well as starting us on basic commands.  Stetson is a talented dog and Robin's hardest job was in trying to educate this very novice and not stock oriented handler.  I very much appreciate all the opportunities she gave me to practice sorting, gate work and other aspects of handling stock so lacking in my background.

Robin has a good eye and is flexible in her instruction.  She employs techniques best suited for a particular handler, dog and situation and provides appropriate stock.

Because Robin actively competes in herding trials, she is aware of specific skills necessary to be successful in these situations.  It is, however, her philosophy to train the dog to herd stock first and to use those skills in a trial rather than to teach the course.
